Warm greetings to everyone! I am Olga Brouwer,

a RYT® 500 yoga teacher (completed a 500+ hour yoga teacher training that is registered with Yoga Alliance).

Yoga feels like home to me. Whenever I need to restore, energize, reconnect to myself, Yoga is an answer! Over the years I have found my strength, mental clarity and inner powers through yoga practice. Yoga helps me stay fit, grounded and true to myself.

What is Yoga

Yoga takes its meaning from Sanskrit ‘Yuj’ – ‘to join’ or ‘to unite’. And the strongest connection is the one that unites our bodies and souls, bringing us to balance on all levels!

What are Physical Benefits of Yoga?

There are just so many! Yoga rejuvenates the whole body, helps strengthen the spine, stimulates blood circulation and metabolism. Yoga has enormous positive effects on your cardio and central nervous system. Weekly practice will boost the function of internal organs, help you develop strength and flexibility, release muscle tension, feel Free and Secure in your body.

What are Mental Benefits of Yoga?

In Yoga we come to mental clarity and balance through physical practice. Weekly practice quickly improves sleep, boosts energy, activates creative and clear thinking.

Who benefits the most from Yoga?

Everyone! Yoga is for everyone! It doesn’t matter what is your background, life style, occupancy, body type, tastes or way of thinking… Yoga is a homecoming, feeling at home in your own body, feeling connected on all levels.

Your Body, Your Practice! Yoga helps find and develop a deeper mind and body connection, helps ReConnect even… Whenever we feel restless, distracted, stressed, lost or searching… Yoga helps find an answer. Your mind reaches for clarity and your body energises and rejuvenates with every practice.

Can people with medical conditions practice Yoga?

Absolutely! Some medical conditions and injuries can cause daily stress and negatively affect quality of life. Yoga practice can reduce symptoms of medical conditions and help you recover after injuries. However, no yoga teacher can promise a cure or healing for medical conditions, this stays strictly a doctor’s expertise. That’s why it is highly recommended to consult with a doctor before joining yoga class. Depending on student’s condition there will be variations and adjustments offered to make the asana flow less challenging and more effective.

Classes are given in English

As an expat myself, I would like to create an international environment during my yoga classes with English as a common language for all my students.

What is my motivation?

My ultimate goal is to create a community of dedicated yogis, grow and build up the practice together. I believe that only a regular practice makes yoga the best tool for our physical and mental development. I also believe that regular yoga practice is incredibly empowering, liberating and inspiring!

How to book a class?

I use Momoyoga system (which is especially developed for Yoga teachers and Yoga enthusiasts). To book a class, you can go to my Agenda and Prices page where you see the list of coming lessons. When you click the Book Button, it takes you to my Momoyoga page where you can EASILY register and manage your bookings, classes and payments! If you have questions, you are always welcome to ask me personally via my contacts!

Bij Yoga Unit begonnen met yoga. Olga geeft op een hele fijne toegankelijke en inspirerende manier les. Zowel de beginner als de gevorderde kan hier terecht. Echt een aanrader!

I took Olga's classes before moving to the US and I would highly recommend Olga. I loved Hatha because it felt like a real workout. and I'm also a big fan of her Yin class where we learnt proper breathing techniques and could relax deeply.

De manier waarop Olga op professionele wijze haar yoga lessen voorbereid en uitvoert is echt top. Een goeie combinatie van een verscheidenheid aan asanas met de juiste uitleg en bijsturing, niet gepropt in een “lesuurtje” maken dat ik terug blijf komen. En lekker makkelijk dat je alleen jezelf mee hoeft te nemen, alle materialen zijn aanwezig en worden na elke les gereinigd en liggen als vanzelfsprekend de volgende week weer klaar, fijn!!

I recently joined a class at Yoga Unit with Olga, and it was awesome! The studio is cozy and welcoming. Olga's Hatha yoga class was perfect for me, and I appreciated her attentiveness to my needs. She offered adjustments to make sure I got the most out of the practice. The lessons are in English, which worked well for me. I can't wait to go back for more classes – Yoga Unit and Olga rock!

The teacher has profound knowledge, her lessons are clearly structured. She cares for individual needs and then gives alternatives, if I can't get into the plank :-), for example. Highly recommended.

Olga is great Yoga teacher with a solid background. She can guide you through the yoga class by offering different variations to adapt the class to your level. She is a certified Yoga teacher with a deep knowledge on other aspects of Yoga besides Asana practice. I would recommend her!
